Human Resources  (Training & Development)

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking a Corporate Trainer & Organizational Development Specialist to plan, organize and coordinate all training activities for Crystal Stairs staff, to include analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Ensure consistency of training in meeting the Agency's strategic objectives and goals.   Provide expert consultation, analysis, facilitation, research and project management in all areas related to the education, talent management, performance management, training and development of Crystal Stairs employees. The ideal candidate will have the following responsibilities:  



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with education and training in instructional design, adult learning theory, training techniques.
  • 5 years of training and instructional design experience preferably within a non-profit environment, to include a minimum 3 years experience designing, implementing and delivering training of a technical nature.  Proficiency in needs assessment and development of appropriate training plans. Must have excellent presentation, platform and facilitation skills, and possess a strong ability to influence, negotiate, educate and persuade.
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Requires excellent written, oral, written and interpersonal skills.  Must be flexible and able to multi-task while working in a collaborative, team environment.  Must have ability to work with persons of diverse backgrounds and interests.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the principles and practices of training and development.   Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office and other software, to include software applications, spreadsheets, database applications and graphic design.
