Programs - Case Management Manager

 

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking a Case Management Manager who will lead case management operations and staffing to achieve program goals in compliance with contract requirements, regulations, and agency policies and procedures. The Case Management Manager monitors monthly enrollment/expenditure projections and develops plans and adjustments as necessary to meet program goals and objectives. This position will also review and utilize performance data results to enhance operations and client services, and assure goals and employee performance standards are met. The ideal candidate will also have the following responsibilities:

 

  1. Manage case management operations and staffing to achieve program goals in compliance with contract requirements, regulations, and agency policies and procedures.
  2. Monitor monthly enrollment and expenditure projections and develops plans and adjustments as necessary to meet program goals and objectives.
  3. Propose, design, implement and evaluate policies and procedures as needed to assure performance and contractual goals/requirements are met.       Establish priorities and set realistic completion dates.
  4. Prepare new annual funding reapplication and proposals for new funding as needed.
  5. Implement and monitor program-related government policies and legislation, and review, interpret, and disseminate within the agency relevant program and policy information.
  6. Conduct prudent fiscal management of contracts to provide continuous improvement of services and to control expenses.
  7. Supervise preparation and revision of parent and provider manuals, as well as other program documents, policies, and public information materials
  8. Represent program and agency at professional organizations, meetings with funding agencies, on advisory boards and committees, and at public hearings and community meetings.
  9. Facilitate inter-departmental communication and act as liaison regarding general work and specific assignments with other departments.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

  • Bachelor of Arts degree required, Masters Degree preferred.
  • Incumbent is expected to continue upgrading knowledge, skills and abilities needed to keep abreast of human services field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience managing a child care subsidy program, staff management experience, with 1-3 years demonstrated experience increasing workflow processes, work effectiveness and regulatory compliance within a department.
  • Significant understanding of Child Care Assistance Program and CalWORKs Child Care Subsidy Program regulations.
  • Must have working knowledge of CDE Case Management department methods, protocol and performance expectations.
  • Knowledge of business operations and strategic planning will be necessary. MS Office knowledge required, with demonstrated computer and database competency
